Permanent Outdoor Lighting in Northwest Indiana
Permanent, app-controlled roofline lighting for distinguished homes in Valparaiso, Chesterton, La Porte, Michigan City, Crown Point, Munster, and Chicagoland. Our firm designs, installs, and programs a discreet lighting system that stays in place all year. Warm white every evening, full color for every holiday, and no ladders ever again.
One System, Every Occasion
- Every holiday. Christmas, Halloween, the Fourth of July, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Diwali, and Hanukkah, each with its own scene, set once and scheduled for years.
- Game days. Bears, Notre Dame, Valpo, or your alma mater, in team colors.
- Life’s moments. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, a new baby, and evenings when you’re entertaining.
- Warm white, every night. Soft architectural accent lighting that flatters the home and adds security after dark.
Why Clients Choose Permanent Lighting
- Controlled from your phone. Colors, patterns, brightness, zones, and schedules that follow sunset, from anywhere in the world.
- No ladders, no storage bins. Install it once and enjoy it every season.
- Invisible by day. A low-profile aluminum track tucks beneath the roofline and is color-matched to your trim, so wires stay hidden and the home’s lines stay clean.
- Built for lake-effect winters. Sealed, weather-rated LEDs and a protective aluminum channel made to handle Lake Michigan snow, ice, wind, and summer sun.
- Long-term protection. Backed by a long manufacturer warranty, with every term spelled out in your proposal.
- Energy efficient. Low-voltage LEDs use a fraction of the power of traditional holiday lights.
Designed Around Your Home
Permanent lighting should look like part of the architecture, not something added later. Our firm plans the light spacing, zones, and track profile around your rooflines, gables, and entry. For clients planning a new roof, new siding, or new trim with us, we coordinate the lighting into the same project, so the track is placed and color-matched while the work is underway.
Our Process
- 1. Design consultation. We visit the home, measure the rooflines, review trim colors, and talk through how you’d like to use the lighting.
- 2. Preview and proposal. You see a preview of your home lit, along with a written proposal covering the design, track color, and warranty.
- 3. Professional installation. Our crew installs the color-matched track and lights cleanly and safely. Most homes are completed in about a day.
- 4. App setup and programming. We connect the system to your Wi-Fi, load your holidays and everyday scenes, set your schedules, and walk you through the app.
- 5. Ongoing care. Clients have one point of contact at our firm for questions, adjustments, and service.

Questions
Do I need an electrician?
Usually not. The system plugs into a standard outlet, typically in the garage or on an exterior wall, and the lights run on low voltage. If your home needs a new outlet near the roofline, our firm coordinates a licensed electrician as part of the project.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Very little. The track sits beneath the roofline and is color-matched to your trim, so from the street it reads as part of the home.
What is the warranty?
The systems we install carry a long manufacturer warranty on the lights and components. Your proposal spells out the exact coverage, along with our own workmanship warranty.
Will it hold up to Northwest Indiana winters?
Yes. The lights are sealed and weather-rated, and they sit inside a protective aluminum channel built for snow, ice, and freeze-thaw cycles.
Can I control different sides of the house separately?
Yes. Zones let you keep warm white on the front while the back patio shows color for a party.
Does it work with smart home systems?
Most systems work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home in addition to the phone app.
